Stockholm – Tele2 AB (“Tele2”) (Nasdaq Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) announces that Yogesh Malik, Executive Vice President and CTIO, will step down from his position effective from today.

Yogesh joined Tele2 and the Group Leadership Team in April 2021 and has been responsible for Networks and IT, including the extensive roll-out of Tele2’s award winning 5G network and the major IT transformations that Tele2 has undertaken to have all their brands on one IT platform. 

 

        I want to thank Yogesh for his important contributions to Tele2. His knowledge and experience have been critical through these years of change and transformation. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours, says Jean Marc Harion, CEO & President at Tele2. 

Ove Wik, currently Head of Digital Capabilities and Technology Sweden, at Tele2, will take on the position as acting EVP CTIO effective from today.
